My Story

My love of animals started when I was nine years old with a newspaper ad for free kittens. I waited with my mum in the rain for the owner to bring out the last barn kitten; an orange tabby that I unoriginally named Muffin.

Muffin was my first soul mate.  He was loyal, affectionate, patient, and allowed me to dress him in doll clothes. Muffin was the beginning of a long line of orange furry soul mates.

My human soul mate is my husband Shawn.  His love of animals (and cars) is as deep as mine and we live our lives north of Boston covered in animal hair .  Our four legged family consists of our dog Ludwig and our four orange tabbies; Marmie, Walter, Fozzie and Bill, along with an endless array of foster cats and kittens.

I turned fifty during the pandemic.  We, as the rest of the world socially distanced, worked from home and spent a lot of our time with cars and claws.  As a birthday gift,  my husband bought me a 2002 Ford Thunderbird and our date nights turned to date drives.  We toured all the back roads photographing nature, cars and animals.  It was during these long moments together that I realized I really enjoyed my husbands company and that I could merge my passion of cars and animals by creating art inspired by other peoples stories.
